Career
Andrés de la Bastida (KST) is an Ecuadorian visual artist, muralist, and architect born in Quito, with roots in the Galápagos Islands. His work integrates painting, muralism, illustration, and animation, exploring a language that blends the symbolic, the spiritual, and the everyday.
After graduating as an urban planner and architect in 2016 and working on architectural projects until 2020, he decided to dedicate himself fully to art. He began his career in urban art in 2017 under the pseudonym KST and co-founded El Estudio en Llamas in Quito.
She currently lives in Barcelona, where she studies painting and drawing at the Barcelona Academy of Art, participates in mural festivals, and exhibits her work at Artquemy Gallery. Her practice is characterized by the hybridization of techniques and a constant search for visual transformation.
