Career
Barcelona, 1969
He studied graphic design and advertising and began painting in the streets with markers in 1985 and with spray paint in 1987. After filling Barcelona, Catalonia and the rest of Spain with his art, he began traveling to Europe and America and decorating their streets with his Logo-Art. Xupet has collaborated with the world of fashion, skateboarding and sneakers, along with artistic marker brands and representative Street Art firms.
His work
His work has been and continues to be exhibited in some of the most important galleries on the global art scene, including Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, San José (Costa Rica), Los Angeles and Miami, among others. Recently, following a successful Kickstarter campaign, he opened his own studio-gallery in the centre of Barcelona so that he could take part in urban art tours and have direct contact with the community.
