Description of the art

ALIVE is a mural intervention that transforms the large walls of the Besos River into a vibrant space for interaction and collective experience. The work stems from the concept of connection, understanding this place as a natural meeting point where people pause, rest, and connect.

In an increasingly individualistic social context, the mural acts as a catalyst for relationships: its lines, paths, and forms invite passersby to cross paths, to look at each other, and potentially to get to know one another, transforming the space into a stage for human interaction. Movement is another fundamental axis of the work. Through geometric abstractions inspired by the city’s visual codes, the mural captures the constant flow of urban life: bodies coming and going, paths intersecting, accelerated rhythms, and momentary pauses. The composition visually translates the circulation, speed, and daily traffic, evoking not only physical movement but also the city’s vibrant sounds: traffic, voices, and collective energy.

In this sense, the artwork functions as a vast urban kaleidoscope, where elements fragment and recompose into multiple visual interpretations. Shapes and colors intertwine, generating a dynamic, almost hypnotic sensation that shifts according to the viewer’s perspective. This multiplicity of viewpoints reinforces the idea of diversity and coexistence. Ultimately, ALIVE is pure energy. The combination of geometry and abstraction creates a welcoming and stimulating visual environment, brimming with vitality and optimism. The artwork is not only observed, it is felt: it transmits positive sensations, activates the space, and redefines it as a place where art, the city, and people connect in a single pulse.
