The idea behind this mural is a kind of tribute to the house where I lived from the moment I arrived in Barcelona as an immigrant – the place that has welcomed me and served as a refuge and a source of support during the experience of migration.

The play also features all the flatmates I have lived with over the last eight years – people who, like me, have moved here from their respective countries and with the vast majority of whom I have been able to share experiences and good times.

Within the mural and in this intimate space, there are also many works by artist friends who have mainly devoted themselves to mural art; in recent years, I have also been fortunate enough to share adventures and experiences with them in many different places. In this sense, I am keen to capture in this mural the intimate nature of everyday life, but within a public space and alongside works that also have a connection to the public realm.
