Drift: “The drift or deviation of a ship from its true course due to the wind, the sea, or the current.”
This time, the idea was to move away from a static image and create a mural that told a story, a narrative.
The main inspiration came from Ernest Hemingway’s book “The Old Man and the Sea”.

A work that speaks of loneliness and the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity, among other themes.
The art piece features elements that represent the energy and power of nature, which in turn influence humankind.

I decided to create it using shades ranging from white to black, including mid-tones (greys), using the chiaroscuro technique (the contrast between light and shadow).
The idea is that light should take precedence over shadows.
