An artist originally from Caracas, Venezuela, he lived in the USA for over a decade, between Boston, New York and Miami, and is currently based in Barcelona.

Their style is geometric, whether in abstract or figurative pieces, with transparencies and overlays of colour characterising their work.

When asked about his influences, he emphasised how Venezuelan Kineticism, or Kinetic Art, initiated the process, but it was the city of Barcelona and, for the most part, all the contemporary urban artists from Spain who shaped what SLOMO represents in his paintings, walls or sculptures today.

By chance, or perhaps by unconscious design, Slomo found himself at a point in his life surrounded by influential artists, cities, places and the flourishing Wynwood scene in Miami, which he was fortunate to experience first-hand and which encouraged him to immerse himself in and draw inspiration from art and creativity.
