The artwork depicts human faces in an abstract style using giant pixel blocks. Masnah designed these figures using different skin tones and even incorporating an “alien” (with blue and green hues) to represent the enormous diversity of society. The main objective is for any passerby to be able to look at the mural and identify with one of the figures. Furthermore, as a nod to the flora and fauna of the Besòs River area, he included the figure of a monkey. The figures contrast with a softer, more expressive background that simulates a sunset.
