In this work, I wanted to highlight the importance of shaping letters within the movement and culture of graffiti. A wall writer must master their style and make it their own, so that it becomes something that identifies them like a signature.
Well, the letter D is my signature, and that is why it is born from a volcano, erupting into different styles, shapes, and colors, while always maintaining that same essence: the discipline of the THROWUP. The absolute protagonist of the work is the letter D and its different recurring variations and forms, which always bring you back to the artist’s characteristic essence and style, without leaving aside that pioneering style within the graffiti scene: the THROWUP, “THE ROOTS”, the root, the beginning of everything.
