Punk de fuga

A art created with the intention of laying the foundations for a new type of muralism as an inspiration for new generations of mural artists. Far from the visual noise and stress of North American-influenced, false technical virtuosity, simplicity, silence and visual emotion give Ilúm a new way of creating, where colour and geometry communicate a synthetic-cryptic message. A message directed to the subconscious and the soul, a pause for observation and contemplative meditation.

Two characters open an infinite-perspective dimensional portal in which their limits are those of the observer’s imagination, an invitation to the visitor’s mental creativity.
Adorned with small recycled contributions, where the dictatorship of spray paint is relegated to an anecdotal, testimonial and humiliating role, the spray can decorates the wall.

Complemented by wooden bird boxes, celebrating a connection with the surrounding nature.
The mural was created entirely with two paintbrushes, without masking tape or scaffolding, using sewing thread as the main guide lines.
