West Wall
The bridges of the Besòs River Park are not only physical crossings between banks, but also suspended spaces for artistic creation.. Each of them offers a unique architectural structure that becomes a new medium for visual, sound, or performance expression.
Through interventions that leverage three-dimensionality, height, and the play of perspective, BesArt’s bridges become disruptive scenarios where art appears unexpectedly, surprising the visitor.
Here art pices are developed that dialogue with traffic of bicycles, pedestrians or vehicles, and that activate thinking from the symbolic: crossing, joining, flowing. They are also a meeting point for ephemeral actions such as night projections, vertical dance, light installations and urban concerts that float on the river.
Each bridge is identified within the BesArt interactive map and features information about the installed work and the artist, along with documentaries accessible in the app.. Visitors experience the experience not only by walking through them, but also by viewing them from different points in the park.
